Table of Contents

Various silk fabrics to choose from

    1. Mulberry Silk

Features: The highest quality silk, with slender fibers, soft and noble luster, silky and skin-friendly touch, excellent breathability and moisture absorption.

    Common varieties:

Plain crepe satin: One side is smooth and bright, and the other side has matte crepes, suitable for embroidery or printing, but easy to snag.

Double crepe: The surface has fine crepes, matte texture, good wrinkle resistance, suitable for printing and daily use.

Habotai silk fabric: Light and smooth, with a crisp texture, suitable for summer or simple design.

    2. Blended Silk

Common blends: Silk + cotton and silk + cashmere

Advantages: Reduce costs, enhance wrinkle resistance and durability, while retaining some silk texture.

    Heavy silk (high momme silk)
Features: The thickness is measured in “momme” (mm). Conventional scarves use 12-16 mommes, while heavy silk can reach 19-30 mommes. It is thick and drapey, and has strong warmth retention.

    Special craft silk

Xiangyunsha: Natural plant dyeing with matte texture and cool feeling, suitable for retro style.

Jacquard silk: Three-dimensional pattern is formed through weaving technology, with high-grade texture and it is no need for additional printing.

    Printing method

Conventional digital printing: Digital printing is only performed on the front of the scarf, and the back is solid or slightly transparent (depending on the thickness of the fabric). The production leadtime is shorter and suitable for thicker fabrics (such as heavy silk and blended silk above 16 momme), which can reduce the color transmission on the back, but it is only suitable for single-sided displayed designs, and the backside cannot be used.

Double-sided digital printing: Print both sides simultaneously. By adjusting the ink concentration or superimposing white ink, ensure that the colors on both sides are clear and do not interfere with each other. It is suitable for medium-thick silk (14-19 momme), such as crepe de chine and twill silk, balancing color transmission and softness. However, this method takes longer to produce and costs more.

    Hems

Clients can choose a variety of hem styles. The choice depends on the fabric. We provide the hem style that best suits each type of silk. Hand rolled, machine hemmed and hand-rolled imitated hem are all available at us,
